Villa la Angostura & Mount Bayo

It is one of the most enchanting Villas Mountain of the Lakes region. Also visit the Cerro Bayo winter resort, where you can perform various activities.

It starts from Bariloche eastward to the edge of Lake Nahuel Huapi, where the Limay River is born.

From there begins to border the northern shore of Lake. At first the road passes through an area of steppe, where large farms are located.

Then, upon reaching the branch Huemul it appears the Cypress Forest, which slowly gives way to lush moist forest coihue begins to appear.

Leaving the branch Huemul we see the beautiful view of Bahia Manzano, finally Residencia El Mesidor we arrive to Villa la Angostura, on the way we visit the port, the Sad Selva lagoon and the Chapel “Assumption”.

About 10 Km from the Villa, you enter the Mount Bayo Ski Center of the place.

There chairlifts, which take up the top of this hill, where you can take great pictures of the landscape, and perform various activities like culipatín, or take ski or snowboard lessons.
