Andean Crossing

Lake tour that takes us to the western end of Lake Nahuel Huapi, to enter the Valdivian jungle and cross the Andes Mountains and reach Chile.

The journey begins in Puerto Pañuelo. Nahuel Huapi Lake is navigated in a westerly direction, through the Blest Arm towards the heart of the mountain range. In front of the famous Sentinel islet, the boat will salute, since the remains of Dr. Perito Francisco Pascacio Moreno rest there. After disembarking in Puerto Blest, a 3 km road is traveled by bus that, bordering the Frías River, reaches Pto. Alegre. There, the green waters of Lake Frías are navigated for about 20 minutes to reach Puerto Frías, while the views of the high peaks of Cerro Tronador and the flight of the condors impress with their beauty. Upon arrival in Puerto Frías, immigration procedures are carried out at Argentine Customs. Next, we take the bus that crosses the Andes mountain range along a path of exuberant vegetation in the middle of the Valdivian jungle until we reach Peulla, the first Chilean population, finishing the immigration and Customs procedures and then having lunch. Later, the Todos los Santos Lake is sailed in an easterly direction, towards Petrohue. There, returning to the land route, the Petrohue Falls are visited and finally, bordering Lake Llanquihue, the city of Puerto Varas is reached. There you will be transferred to the hotels Los Alerces, Cabañas del Lago, Bella Vista, Colonos del Sur and Andina del Sud Office, where our services end.

This excursion has two modalities: RAPID CROSSING (takes 1 day, it takes place only from October to April) or NORMAL CROSSING The latter takes 2 or more days. Upon arrival in Peulla after completing the immigration procedures, they are transferred to the Hotel Natura Patagonia or Hotel Peulla. From there you can carry out various activities within the Pérez Rosales National Park: canopy, rafting, horseback riding, boat fishing, etc.

The next day after lunch, the Todos los Santos Lake will be navigated to continue the itinerary.

Keep in mind that the rate does not include food, accommodation or excursions, as well as the entrance to the national parks that are visited during the excursion.
